Anyone ever replace the outer wheel wheel with the quarters still on the vehicle? I did some googling, but came up short. I need to replace the wheelhouse as well, if that helps.

I have got to do the same thing and have decided to cut the quarter's off just look's like the easyest way to do it but I have a lot more to fix.The inner wall's in the trunk need work to.

I noticed that the full inner quarters are "only" $599. That isn't much more than buying the parts I need piece-meal. Would it be better for piece it together or just buy the full?

Brian, to me it doesn't seem like it would be that hard to replace the outer wheelwells with the quarters on. I replaced the ones on my Nomad with the quarters on, but I had to modify them for the tubs, which I did with the quarters off.

I agree with Cnut. I removed the forward outer wheelhouse on mine when I was trying to save my old quarter. I put a new quarter on instead but have yet to re-install that part. Plenty of access and it shouldn't be a problem.

Thanks for all the info! Any thoughts about full inner quarter vs pieces..

I've never replaced an inner quarter before. How bad is yours?

It has several rust spots/holes. I haven't finished scrapping the bondo and undercoating yet, so I'm sure I'll find more. also has a few hack job patches. If I can, I'll get some pics.
