How many of you have or have used the LED trouble/work lights? i see you can get cord or cordless models, any input on what to stay away from, what works good, brands, ETC...

I have a Cdaftsman cordless I really like, on my second one but I am hard on shit. I had one from a losal guy who sells chinease crap like HF, liked it too, but I was on my way to my parents for christmas dinner last year and heard a crunch. On the way home that night I figured it out, my fine chinease led light was in the road in pieces. I had used it to replace the oil pressure sender on my 4x4 87 GMCs crappy electric guage. My 72 Cheyannes mech guage would never have this happen.

Hey thanks Mark, I saw one used the other day and really liked the light it put off, all i have is the old light bulb style, you know the one that if you roll over on it you get burned

I got a Craftsman 20.0 volt cordless drill and LED light a few months ago and the light works very well and the battery holds a charge very long, even when I leave it on overnight it is still bright .

I have one that is about 14" long, not very good light and doesn't last real long. I don't remember where I bought it. I've always liked the flourescent tube lights but they're not cordless. I would like a cordless lamp that puts out bright light.

We use Bayco brand , I think they are the best .
Here is the company web site

www.baycoproducts.com

If your useing a old drop light with Incandescent light bulb, Replace it with a small flourescent light bulb . They do not go out when dropped and when water hits them they don't explode .
