Had to load one of those big banjo signs by myself into the back of a semi at my Dad's station. Sure was heavy! They built them to last back then.

Cool stuff. I collect oil/gas and other memoribillia from the 50's. I have 2 gas pumps, air meter, 2 lubesters, parking meter, drive-in-speakers, 60 full paper oil cans, 1957 JC Higgins bike, coke machine etc. I recently picked up a kids coin operated 1957 chevy ride. Everything works but I have not been able to track down any information as to who manufactured it ect. I have seen 2 that were auctioned for $2500 and $5,000. Has anyone else seen one of these?
