After several years of attempting to get my 55 to a point that it inspires me, I have decided to go a different route. I will be offering my 55 up for sale in a couple of weeks in an effort to raise funds for a 56 four door wagon. (non project)

My 55 is in need of a lot of work, make no mistake about that. As it stands, it would be a perfect gasser/racecar body to initiate a real project from or certainly it could become what ever the purchaser want's it to become.

Enough of that for now. Included in the sale are all items specific to the 55. Car has a clear Arkansas title (in my name) and depending on purchaser, I can change it to Texas or leave it as is. The car and parts will NOT be separated for sale as this is priced for a quick sale.

1 pair of Caddy buckets (power) and rear caddy seat set
1 Viper six speed (2003) with NEW McLeod bell housing for SBC/LSX or BBC
1 incomplete chassis with AME Triangulated 4 Link (car will set at 4 1/2" Level.
1 9" ford housing with Strange 35 spline axles with all of the tri-4 brkts.
1 C4 Front clip from Progressive Automotive with suspension. Suspension is used.
1 Pair Full Replacement Outer Rockers
Multiple floor braces, new and used (car needs full floor and trunk)
Many trim parts new and used.
1 New Tail Pan
Chassis was designed for Ride Tech Shock Waves (included & New). (no tank or system)
1 55 2D HT roof (don't ask, just goes with it)
1 Extra Bare 9" housing.
1 Pair Dunlop NEW never on ground 335/35ZR17
1 Pair Dunlop NEW never on ground 215/45ZR17
1 pair American Racing 11x17 200S
1 pair American Racing 8x17 200S
Above tires and wheels are mounted

My intentions are to place body on chassis in position, remove from chassis jig and have it a rolling stock ready for trailering leaving the rest to the purchaser.

Pictures will be distributed to those that are serious. Provide email address.

Now for the price.............................. $5299.00 with a little wiggle room.

The wheels, tires, transmission, Mcleod Bellhousing, Caddy buckets and Shockwaves are worth pretty close to that so it's like getting a free 55 Chevy with clear title.

Again, I will not be separating this up, so please don's ask me to. TIA and have a Blessed day.

Hear that. Sounds like a really good deal, Nick. Priorities change. I have put the Nomad on a back burner (again) to help my Grandson with a Chevy C - 10.

I was about to suggest you post a picture of the car but I guess that's a moot point now. But would still like to see it.

At this point, I'm on the fence. I looked at a 56 wagon but it had to much to do to it. Looking at several others also. Putting funds back for that special car, when I see it, I'll know it. Doesn't cost a dime to wait for the right car.

There was a pretty nice 57 Nomad here locally for sale. Might be gone now.
