I installed a new CPP MCPV1 master cylinder this winter and noticed fluid leaking out of the top cover. Rubber seal doesn't appear to have any rips in it and nuts are tight. When I pulled in the other night the aluminum case was warm to the touch, but not hot...not sure. Car stops really good. Could there be an adjustment to the prop valve or too much psi on the SSBC vacuum pump?

Could it just be that you are running the fluid level too high to account for thermal expansion?

Brake fluid getting warmer after driving would be normal after all.

It's a pretty big stretch to relate this to the prop valve and especially to the vacuum pump.

I will continue to monitor it. I hope its a simple fix.

Every thing under the hood heats up. Fluid level too high.

No it isn't coming out like it was, but think it due to the heat and vapors!
