My car has side mounts currently and uses the old original 58 chevy style rubber mounts. I am installing an LS Engine and using the same rubber side mounts with Holley adapters. My problem is that I really want to lift the engine straight up about 1/2" to get pan clearance from the cross member.
Is there and other mount that is a little thicker that will accomplish this? I thought about a shim plate between the mount and adapter, but this will move the mount out as well as down. I can't stand the mounts being any wider.
I am looking for a different mount, otherwise I will just modify my existing frame mounts. They are welded in.

The tall & narrow will do what I need. What do I ask for at a part store? What vehicle is it standard on?

Thanks, Tom

Ask for a mount for a BBC in a 69 Camaro at the auto supply to get a "tall and narrow" mount. But it's not going to raise the engine 1/2". Only about 5/16". Also it might be a fight to get the holes to line up so that the long bolt will go in.

Thanks guys.
I think that these will lift enough to get the clearance that I am needing.
