Does the larger bore on a brake master cylinder create more foot pressure feel at the pedal or make it easier?

Larger mc bore creates less line pressure for a given amount of pedal force.

The"feel" is firmer with less pedal travel as the master bore size increases.

To me, I don't think it's firmer. It just has less travel than a smaller bore m/c. But that's a matter of choosing the words to describe it.

Thing is, most modern cars use a combination with little travel, and most seem to like the combination of a lot of boost and short travel.

So...what they do is provide a lot of boost and then use a big bore m/c (which kills some of the boost) so that the pedal travel is short.

smaller bore stops better bigger bore needs more pedal pressure to stop fast at least on my wildwood 4 puck set up 1"mcyl was very hard to stop 7/8 cured it
