My recent barn find is a very straight original family owned 57 4 dr 210 wagon; original paint and interior; a small amount of rust through the lower fender skirts; motor trans and brake were rebuilt recently only to have the garage broken into and the vandals poked holes in the radiator; pulled all the wires off the distributor and poured steel rivets into the carb. The vehicle has been sitting for 6 months since being secured. Any feedback on the value of such a find. I will have to vacuum the rivets out then pull the carb and vacuum the intake prior to removal. I have a scope to inspect all the ports to insure none were missed.

very hard to give a value without pics. guesstimate around $5000 (or less).

I find a lot of regional difference in value of cars like this one.

looks like a nice one. get it running and will get more for it(maybe around $10,000 if the interior is as nice as outside). just my opinion , good luck.

the rugrats in the neighborhood had broken in to the garage about 6 months before I bought this and poked a hole in the radiator and poured a babyfood jar of steel rivets into the carb and pulled a wire loose under the dash near the column.
Luckily the rivets did not go past the secondary flaps because they filled the entire bore. the radiator is a nice 4 core copper unit and repair was only $65. next I need to identify the loose wire to fix it before start up attempt and of course drain and re-fill the fuel tank.
