When welding aluminum sheet, how do you get complete penetration? I have welded some .063" aluminum sheet together and when I finish, the backside has "bulges" on each side of the joint, but the joint itself is still visible. So I have to weld a bead on both sides to get a good weld. Then sometimes when I planish the joint, the weld cracks. I'm using 4043 rod which is what's recommended.

That happens to me quite a bit. Not sure what you do on sheet metal, since if I slow down or increase the heat for more penetration - then I blow holes, which obviously doesn't work either.
