Is there a good source for lower patch panels for both front and rear doors as well as inner lowers for rear door. I will also need a tail pan where the tail gate hinges bolt to as it is rotten along the gasket contact.

I'm not aware of any door patch panels for 4-door cars or wagons. The tailpan is available reproduction. I'd check on eBay and if you can't find anything look at Restoration World.

thanks
with the popularity of 4 door units and wagons increasing I'm surprised no one is offering the 4 door panels and inner door lower corner panels.

Heck you can't even get quarters made for a 2-door wagon.

When you say "inner door lowers" are you talking about the door or the "dogleg" behind the door on the body? The latter is available.

I'm talking about the bottom end of the door interior of the door skin. Right behind the rear corner of the door skin where it commonly rusts

Just look around you for replacement doors. I have made several trips to Ca to bring parts back for myself and to sell on ebay, and a lot of those parts I sold went to buyers in Ca--LOL

Are 56 doors the same?

If you're up to fabricating some of your own parts, don't let all of the intricate details dissuade you. Break them down into manageable parts and weld the parts together. Where the following shows making parts for a 2 door, the principles should be similar..

Most of the rust caused at the bottom of the inner door will likely be due to dirt/salt retention by the weather strip on the outside, or dirt/moisture retention on the inside once any of the drain holes become clogged.

For this corner repair, I chose to break it down into more manageable parts.....

In the abscence of a sheet metal brake, simple bends can be formed in a bench vise, the radius was added using one of the shrinker/stretchers that are readily available.

Once all the parts are welded together, dress the welds and you have a good duplicate of the original part..

Other corner has less details to complicate the process....

One thing I forgot to mention, is that pictures of the areas of concern on your car may help for others to see exactly what you have to work with and better offer suggestions based on that.

I don't have my tailpan work separated, but if you care to read through this thread, starting with post 158, it shows some of the rust repairs before installing a new (reproduction) tail pan.

The tail pan install also included removing the pinch weld seams to help eliminate the rust generators in the future..
