Robert aka MP&C got banned

And they band me too lol. An aqaintance who does paint and body work which I'm considering using to paint my nomad added me to a auto body tech group on FB. On my very first post I referenced one of Roberts threads on garage journal. I posed the question to the group if they planish each weld when welding in a patch panel. I also expressed that Roberts work in the weld areas apear to be like new metal when he is done needing basically no filler to hide the welded seem. Man I started getting called a liar, accused of promoting Roberts busness, and bashing. Only one member responded and said they practice the same method on restorations and colision repair if access is available. I was shocked when the owner of the group cut me off and deleted my post.
Must have been a how to bondo properly group LOL.

Auto body types would rather have you use some panel adhesive, it's a no-no to perform a weld from one end to the other as it takes too long. The car has to be painted and out the door in three days.

Robert I figured that was the nerve I struck with the modern autobody guys and caused the fire storm. There is no link to share they delete everything just like the guy in the yellow 57 LOL..... I only referenced you as the "metal god" that didn't help either lol.....

Can you imagine what your insurance premium would be if body shops metal finished, no one could afford insurance

Got a 16K settlement on this..... ;) I met the adjuster and explained how everything needed to be and would be repaired, including removing the roof skin. He didn't question a thing and thanked me for the education.
