"Fully lit needles, backlit faces, and highly visible LCD message centers are a few of the things that you can see which set the VHX Series apart from yesterday’s traditional approach to instrumentation. A few of the features which you don’t normally see are the micro-controlled precision stepper motors, solid state sensors for unparalleled accuracy, and user-customizable display feedback, all supported by an unrivaled limited lifetime warranty which has become the standard for Dakota Digital instrumentation systems . Completely engineered and manufactured at our facility in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, the VHX Series has completely revolutionized the instrumentation industry!"

I don't know about service but I've talked to the guys at SEMA and they seem to be very friendly and knowledgeable. I don't think I've read any negative posts about them anywhere. I've been looking at these ever since they came out and have seem them in person. My preference is the black face with white numbers but they have 3 faces with 3 color choices for of numbers. They also come with temp, oil pressure and speed senders.

For a guy with more taste for originality, that isn't appealing for me. I believe Classic Instruments just came out with a new release. Their customer service has always been #1. I will give them a call. Thanks for the info

If you want originality these guys nailed it. Classic missed the boat don't even have a bowtie.

What brand is this cluster with the bowtie?

I think that's the old United Speedo Service cluster that was never really for sale, from about 10-12 years back. When I say never really for sale, they only made a few, and their stated lead time was like 8-9 months, but in reality never.

RickL, I'm still trying to remember which gauge company was the one that he use to curse out customers on Ebay, I think you may have been in that conversation over on trifive, do you recall this?

The company that cursed their customers was Custom Rod Gauges. I helped a guy over there figure out how to make his speedo work. I knew that the gauge movements they used were VDO, and that enabled him to find some VDO speedo instructions. Turned out that CRG left out a couple of essential steps in the instructions they sent with the gauges.
