Hi Tri-Five lovers
Thanks for letting me join your group. I drove a '56 Bel Air when I was in high school and dating my wife. Next month we'll celebrate our 53rd wedding anniversary. My wife was looking for a restomod and I was looking for a '56 Chevy. Last week I stumbled across this car, which i think is the best of both worlds. We hope to have it delivered next week. Until then, please enjoy these pictures.

I see that you liked Road Runners back then. We've owned several big block Mopars in the last 20 years. Great picture of you and your bride.

Thanks Histoy! :) That was my first new car. I special ordered it as a hardtop (in Limelight color w black/gray int) pistol grip 4-speed, bench seat, no power (cost too much), but ordered HD everything including Hemi suspension (necessary to get the larger wheels/tires), F60-15 RWL Polyglas GT tires on 15x7 Ralley wheels. It was an attention getting performance car which I loved (sure wish I still had it).
I was in the USAF, a buck sergeant making ~$200/month! My car payment was $93/mo, and insurance cost me $50/mo.. :) so I got used to having NO money for anything... :)
