After the asshole thug yelled "F* Trump" last night (saw it on the news) I won't be surprised if College football dies too. The whole game has been taken over by BLM and political crap. I don't watch college sports either, and never have.

Bama, all frowns here. I lived in Huntsville for a little while 30 years ago. My oldest was born there. But as a UT Vol, we hate you guys! :evil: Requirement to live here. Especially after that sorry ass Lane Kiffin went from TN to bama, but I hated him even while he was at TN. The only saving grace is our new coach won another championship. It was a good game to watch. Yeah, what Rick said, give Saban some happy juice.
The results of each football season affects the disposition of *many? or Most?* of the state's population for the next year... This year it's a mixed bag for Alabama... they lost to Auburn, but came back and won the NC... I think that balances it out! :)
I'm an unusual 'fan' in Alabama, as I pull for all of our state schools, then the SEC schools, and then *any* southern school when they play a far west or up north/northeast school... :)
PS. I didn't care for Lane Kiffin when he was at UT or at Alabama, nor where he's at now, since he cannot quit sniping at Bama.. :)
Thus far, we have not seen anything like that at a televised college football game here, Laszlo. Most especially the Army - Navy game. But you may rest assured that if any player were to do such a thing and was not escorted off the field...... And kicked off the team...... On the spot...... That would be our last college game to watch, as well.Quote:

Laszlo, we did not watch the Alabama - Georgia game. When it comes to college football, we usually watch only the Army - Navy game and a few Texas A & M games. A friend from 'the other' site E-mailed me last night concerning what went down at the recent Alabama - Georgia halftime 'show' and sent a link.
I understand now. It wasn't a player who did that...... It was the thug whomever picked out half-time 'entertainment' ill-advisedly hired to purposely show disrespect to the President and by extension, to our nation and to all Americans. Glad we didn't watch the game now. Had we...... We would have turned the TV off when this fool and his rap crap garbage first came on (I have about a 5-second tolerance for such rubbish).

I watched the entire game *skipped the halftime crap* that they call entertainment nowadays... It was attributed to one of the Alabama players on some sites (that called out the expletive re Trump), but he has since denied he said anything like that. I didn't hear anything and I watched Trump accompany the military ROTC cadets out before the game...
