I need some help. Does anyone have a suggestion on how you can remove the gold louvers once the fender and and air duct are installed? The most forward is the most difficult. The headlight bucket is already removed, but there is not enough access with the air duct in place. Your thoughts, ideas and experiences are most welcome. Thank you
I don't recall what tool I used (maybe pliers?) but I removed the original louvers from a totally assembled car when I painted it around 30 yrs ago. Several of the pins twisted off, but due to the crappy quality of the repro louvers, I reused the original (still bright/right today even!). I used 3M emblem adhesive to apply them after the repaint.
