Little update, rear defroster vent. still needs a bit of tweaking so hopefully be done for casting this week. Just tested out my new aluminum crucible.��...

Vw electric heaters vary in price, but it's just a 12vt hair Drier. 15 bucks Amazon prime, looks like ill be cutting in some vents.

Yes Rick the rear protrusions are for the auxiliary turn and break lights. It's the ignition and wiper switch portion of the old dash flipped over.

The Bezels are just cast aluminum,came up with a sand mix to get a smooth surface using powdered glass.
Finish machined on the back and bottom on mill. Drilled and tapped 4...

Just wondering if anyone had good results with trim parts reproductions?
I was told by them they stick directly to the GM original, won't know till tue when I get my parts in.
