I forgot to post a little about the 55 210. I've had the car since 2003. It has a 454 Fuel Injected engine, 700r4 Trans, Ford 9inch, Heidts drop spindles, 605 power steering, leaf springs pocket kit, 18x7 and 18x 10 wheels.

Here are more pics of it.

    Thats my brothers chopper

    See this ugly backspace?

I've come to hate that look, so I narrowed the 9 inch and took the wheels to a buddy on mine and had them reversed and change the backspace.
    He did a great job.

It took me from this nerdy look in my opinion

    To this

The plan is to totally redo the car after the truck is finished. Right now I'm thinking LS Engine, triangular 4 link and a modern IFS. But that is a ways off.

Not really much to report but I did get to do a little this weekend. I welded up all the interior seams and grind them smooth to give it that smooth and finished look that was lacking from the factory. I got it in primer and now it needs to be blocked sanded. I'm happy with the look so far. It was a lot of work but I've been told many times that the devil is in the details.

Wow, Great Stuff! I'm currently refabricating the dog legs on the front pillars of the cab on my 56 truck. Someone had shot urethane foam into them years ago so they rotted away. Really like how you filled the joint between these dog legs and the outer cowl- I hadn't even thought of that, may do the same. Thanks for the post!

    Thanks Seamist56.

Its really nice to see another truck guy join in and get into the mix. I've seen your post about the grommet but had no definitive answer for you, but I'm glad that you resolved the issue and posted the solution.

BTW I would love to see pics of your project. I'm addicted to this stuff and I need to feed my habit constantly.lol
