    My Nomad project

Started this current build around 9 years ago, and it's evolved considerably over the course of the build. I did more mods than I originally intended to do, and got a lot pickier about the results.

    Here's some recent shots.....

    Re: My Nomad project

Why are my pictures cropped on the right? I think the borders of this site should be removed in the forums. They sure take up a lot of space.

    Re: My Nomad project

I got some more done the past few days. Got the body blocked and in final primer all the way back to the rear wheels. I blocked across all the door gaps. All that's left is blocking the high build around the taillights and tailgate and it will almost be ready for paint.

Is there any way to upload pics from your computer, or do they have to be hosted? Any way to address the cropping on the right side?

    Re: My Nomad project

Marty, that's my plan. I'm trying to get my shop addition finished before I paint, though. I REFUSE to paint it and put it back in the shop where we do the chassis work.

    Here's the latest pic....

    Re: My Nomad project

Can someone fix this site so it doesn't crop pictures like this? How do you prevent this from happening? What's the purpose of the large blue borders on the sides of the page?

Marty, I am going to use them for a while, but who knows how long. I bought them long ago (they weren't cheap) and now I'm not sure I want them long term. They fit ok, but I'd like just a tad more backspacing in front if I can get it, and a lot less in the rear. I have room for a 335 or 345 tire and the ones on the car currently are 295s. I have about 1 1/2" to the fenderwell and some more room inboard. But I'm not sure I want that big of a tire on the rear. Fronts are 245s and they fit well. Also, the fronts are 17" and the rears are 18". I may go 18s all around with some custom wheels. We'll see after paint.
