350 dip stick

my 350 turbo is leaking around where the flexible dip stick goes into the transmission. replaced the o ring twice still leaks. any suggestions. also is there a solid dip stick that will work in a 55

Check your vent tube , it might be plug up . I think they also make a tube that useds what they call a top hat seal

I have never had any luck with aftermarket chrome dipsticks sealing, when I ran a th350 in my 56 I used a stick and trans out of a 1979 Z28. My moter is in the stock local with side adaptor mounts. I saw your post on other site but after an ass chewing by O I quit offering advive.
