Yes, the posts are searchable by the search engines, without logging in and so would show up in search results, i.e. on Google/etc.

I have finished porting over the manual and created multiple formats, i.e. PDF, Word Doc, Web Page with Links and Web Page with all graphics.

OK, I may have misscommunicated my thoughts. My concern is simply where we (TRIFIVECHEVYS>COM) will land in the listing from a Google search. By taking the exact phrase and doing a search, the results below show who (site) gets first billing. If I am searching for information and plug in the title as I did, this site needs to be first or there will be little attention drawn to this site. Loosing prospective members.

(a little long winded, but, this is a very broad topic, only parts of it are mentioned below)

It all depends on what is 'entered' into the search box and the 'ranking' of the site. Those two things control how high up the list.

My suggestion to Sid was that the site be advertised like any other product, i.e. t-shirts/posters/etc.. But, beyond advertising, the #1 method is 'ranking', which means, how many 'other' sites have links to the site.

On the exact title of '1955 chevy trim instructions manual', Google will not find until there is a resource worth showing. Now that the entire manual resides on the site, Google should start noticing it (usually takes Google about 3 weeks to start seeing new content correctly).

Examples of what could be entered and the current results:
Entered: "trifive chevy enthusiasts" __________ # of links down the list: 1
Entered: "trifive forum" __________ # of links down the list: 2
Entered: "1955 1956 1957 chevy forum" __________ # of links down the list: 5
