My 55 wagon has the original speedometer. The trans is a 350 turbo I think c.a. late 60's. The speedo reads about 30 mph too hi.
checked it with another car and at 55 mph on other car my speedo read about 80mph. Also,the rear end is original 55. What do I need to do to correct this...Thanks,Dan.

You need the correct speedo gear in the transmission. Look at the calculators in the link at the top of the page.
