Remember Caddo Mills from the early 60's. Was originally a WW2 training field for aircraft. Think I remember it as a triangle of 3 strips joined. Saw an early fuel altered blow a clutch thru the concrete when he over-revved after missing 2nd gear. I took on a 62 Chevy bubbletop in my first 55. His 409 / 2 fours / 4 speed took my 283 / 3 speed easily. But heck, I had the best seat on the strip to watch his wonderful run!!
