    Bought a 57 Nomad...

    It's rough but it's mine.

Cowl tag shows 691 and 817D.

Also has EZI and AC. Most of the AC parts are gone.

A good part of the metal all over the car is gone.

    The frame is junk.

Good points are that it seems to have all of the Nomad specific trim and has proper VIN tag and clear title.

Pictures are in my photo album here. Having trouble putting them in this post via iPhone.

I made a photo album on this site. The pictures should be there. I'll post them in this thread when I get on the desktop later this weekend.

Congrat's, looks like you have a lot of work ahead of you but it will be worth it in the long run. My 55 hard top was in that kind of shape when I started on it to.

Congratulations on the Nomad hep1966, we have seen rougher so there is still lots of hope that you will resurrect your ride and make it a sweet ride.

Congrats on the purchase. I hope you can fab and weld, since it looks like you're going to be doing a lot of it. The good news is the parts are available, with the exception of the roof and doors. What are your plans for it?

Thinking about selling the Vette to better fund fixing the Nomad.

Hopefully I can find a replacement chassis locally.

If my research is correct, then the floor and inner quarter pieces are available (same as wagon) and I'd be happy making a rough driver out if it. I'll need to find doors. The roof damage doesn't bother me. I'd drive it with a messed up roof.
