    Golden Star Classic Auto Parts

Thought other members could benefit from this, I purchased the lower windshield molding for my 57 Chevy and when they arrived they were very disappointing. The finish of the stainless was far from polished. They look like someone used 1500 grit sand paper, hardy an improvement over my dinged stock ones. When i contacted the manufacturer Golden Star Classic Auto Parts in Texas they told me "thats the way they are" and if i didn't like them to rerun them! End of story. Obviously they take no pride in their work and produce an over priced and poor quality products.

For stainless I would buy original parts wherever possible. They're not hard to find and not expensive either.
