It seems to me.. the middle of the road car could actually cost more in the long run. Traditionally, these cars have hidden issues, poor paint/interiors, etc... so a guy buys one, then, soon figures out it's really not as nice as they thought it should be. Buckets of money come out... and they'll finally have a really nice car... but, they probably have more in it that it's really worth. I think it's better to build one from scratch (providing it's not a rust bucket) OR step up and buy one for a bit extra $$ and really have something. I've watched the TV auctions as of late, and I've seen some stuff go across the block much cheaper than it would cost to build it.... Just say'n..
