    rear glass

has anyone had any problems with replacement rear glass being too short in height. does anyone make a rear rubber that is a lil wider. my glass measure 18 7/8 in center and vintage glass and auto city classics say that is in specs. it suppose to measure 19 inchs in center. it is on a 1955 chevy 150 2 dr. sedan. any help would be greatly appreciated.

Are you sure you don't have a HT glass? It's shorter in height than a sedan glass.

I checked part numbers and it is the right one. a hardtop is about an inch shorter than a sedan. you know of any company that makes the rubbers a little wider?

If it's only short by 1/8" (I misread it to be 1" shorter) I would think it would work with any seal. What problem are you having? Folks say the T&N seals are the best but I don't think they're any wider. What brand seal are you using?
