    Rest In Peace, Mark Campbell

We have lost another truly good person who was so willing to help out any and everyone in our hobby, RIP Mark Campbell.

We are deeply saddened to announce that Mark has gone on to be with the Lord. Mark is and always will be a legend in the hot rod industry, but also in the community of Mena as well. He has always been a good ole boy that would give you the shirt off his back, and a loving family man as well. He would have all his family working at Street and Performance if he could. The family appreciates all of the support and heart-felt condolences through this time. We know Mark is driving the Lord around in a hot rod in heaven at this very moment, and probably talking his ear off about the benefits of fuel injection. Updates about funeral arrangements will be posted as soon as they are made. Again, thank you to everyone that has stood by us through this hard time.

I apologize for the miss spelling of the last name in the title.

Wow, really sorry to hear that. I was on his FB page a week or two ago and saw pics of him in the hospital. I had the pleasure of talking to him on the phone a few times, and he was a really helpful guy and easy to work with. Rest in peace, Mark.

Mark was always very willing to help me in any questions i had for my engine build and always treated me with respect, also he would give me numbers of the other people who worked in the industry and names of contacts to pursue my research, really a great person.

I read today that Street and Performance closed their doors sometime around November 2016. That's too bad...they were a great source for some of the newest LS stuff and even parts for the older engines. They were around since 1985.

I used them on my LS1 swap. Got a chance to meet Mark at the 2013 Hot Rod power tour in Arlington Texas he was passing out fliers sense the tour passed by his place. We went to see his shop in Mena while on tour but could not find it. I heard rumor later it is was out side of town and we missed it. He was a pioneer in adapting the modern engines in hot rods sad to see him gone.
