Yes Rick the rear protrusions are for the auxiliary turn and break lights. It's the ignition and wiper switch portion of the old dash flipped over.
Thank you for the kind comments, very cool.
Wish it was simple to find speakers to fit. Only my second shaping project so I've a long way to go to get better results.

Hey Kevin, I think what you're doing is really cool. Love the bezels you made and they're a lot nicer than the ball-milled billet. It's that kind of stuff that makes the car stand out from the others.

Very nice. I wonder what it would look like with headrests in the recess.

Thank all you guys for the great comments, appreciated. Laszio thank you,big fan of your chassis work wish I could update sooner than later. OLKY55 nice idea and probably safer with rear passengers, I get rear ended, you would hit your head on the brow shape. destined for my daily work driver though so not many passengers. Perhaps i should carry a couple of pillows 😀
Spent hours trying to research speakers that will work so I can weld in the mounts before getting ready for paint. Going up to the car audio shop tomorrow shopping. And tack in my mounting bolts
    Minor update.

    Thanks for looking

Could you mount the speakers at a 45 degree angle and close the curve in to your opening, then insulate it?
