hi,I am located in west central Saskatchewan Canada 6 miles south of small city of Meadow Lake. I am currently replacing rusty wheel well sections on a 1957 belair 2 door sedan. I am having trouble making nice grindable welds ,setting possibly off a little ,using 23 wire on Lincoln 230 mig. I need lots of practice .I think this car came from east .Has a Nova Scotia plate left on it,very rusty .I took most of passenger side floor out and working to restore right wheel well .Any help would be great .I will load some pictures .Thanks Daryl

Daryl, as you probably know there's reproduction parts for just about all of these cars. Complete assembled floors are relatively cheap and get you most of the way to fixing a rusted bottom. Wheelwell parts are also available. Maybe you're using those parts, but thought I'd mention it.
