57 Delivery new paint!

Guys, Wanted to show you update on our 57 Delivery Wagon. It's been on the back burner for several years but found a great body and fender man and painter, out of Indiana. Not too far away. The sides are lazzer straight. It was sprayed with the best paint Kirker sells and makes, habanero maroon metalic paint color. We also used RM 2 gal. clear coat system with mid temp reducer. Blocked it twice for show car finnish. Last coat not done yet. Need more 1500 paper. The car sat in a garage of a dry cleaner co. in N. Dakota for many years, because of a side swip accident on quarter panel. We replaced whole panel. The pan is very nice on this one, one silver dollar size hole up front. Never have seen one this nice for sale in awhile! So we purchased it several years ago. With trade and cash about 12,000 into it. Most parts there. Camero 350 CI and 700R trans. Stock rear. P.S. Did they originaly use glass in the rear window or was that some kind of plexy glass? Geo.

Slowfinger, your car is looking good. The liftgates had glass windows in them. I think it's the same glass as on any non-Nomad wagon. Hope you're driving it soon!
