    Yes it's something we do on all lower of our lower rear shock mounts, coilover or not. Out setup allows the customer to use either a standard shock or coilover, front or rear. Here's a pic of our C4 rear kit with the lower shock mounts in it.

    These brackets were made by Street Rod Garage and are designed to protect the knuckle from breaking. The bottom of the knuckle where the hexagon is, is my concern. Could you please post a photo of how your brackets work? Mick

    Those SRG brackets look similar to the ones from Progressive. They're a reasonable way to go but imo they look big. I don't understand where the bottom hole bolts to, unless it's the shock stud hole. But it's not in the same plane as the dogbone bolts.



    I don't have a good pic of my lower mounts installed but it's quite simple. We use the C4 shock mount hole and the lower dogbone bolt to attach them.
