Not sure yet Sid.
Want to get the car closer to complete before I do much. Rust in the typical locations.
Came with a donor cab, hood, doors, grill and tailgate, so have some parts. Will probably gather parts so I ready when the time comes.
It's on a late model frame, so all suspension is newer. Not sure that's exactly what I want, but it seems to be what many people are doing.
Need to get it up on the lift to see how cobbled up it is!!!Comment

In my experience trucks are fun projects and don't usually have the major rust issues the cars do such as tailpans, floors, floor braces, rear inner fender areas.Comment

Great pick up...one day would like to do a truck as well.Comment

Got it up on the lift today. Not a total frame change, just a front subframe. Looking at column and wheel, appears to be an 82-88 IROC Z28 Camaro subframe.
Not I'll start checking to see if it's installed straight and touch up any welds I don't like.
Overall doesn't look like to bad a job, but didn't have time to look closely.
I'll get back to it after I get my trailer painted and out of the shop. Need to make some room.
I'll post pictures when I get a chance.Last edited by warren57; 08-24-2015, 05:44 AM.Comment
