    55 pickup Lowering

Any ideas on lowering my 55 3100? I have found lowering springs for front and rear and also a 3 lowering axle for the front..
I'm all ears!! (I really don't want to clip the front, the thing only has 17k miles, I just don't have the heart to cut it up)

I think you have answered your own question, reduced arch springs or an axle with more drop.

Thanks Mark. I just wanted to be sure that I wasn't missing something.. I've been out of the hot rod scene for nearly 40 years.. "Sometimes I don't know what I don't know"

    Lowering truck

My '55 is "raked" more than lowered. Big and little tires, and tired front springs (don't know if they have been lowered by a previous owner or not) Our roads here in rural So Cal can be real bad with dips and potholes, and I don't want to have a hassle if I get a front flat, with a too low frontend.
