This is obviously not a race car, because if it was I'd have built it a lot differently than I did. But that doesn't mean that I won't autocross it some day if I feel like it. I don't think the PS fluid or brake fluid is going to be a problem with a short course like that now and then.

I got the reservoir polished today and it looks great. I liked it with the machined finish too, but a polished finish looks better with everything else. I also put the "nuts" on the backside of the core support cover/filler to attach the reservoir to.

Next up is painting the core support covers/fillers and installing them. I have a center filler I almost forgot about that I think has to go on before the upper radiator hose is installed....glad I didn't use the shrink clamps there yet.

Is this a optical illusion or is this hose touching the header tube?

Now that I have the engine running and everything seems to be working fine, I decided to install the 3.5" Denny's aluminum MMC driveshaft and check final driveline angles.

Here's a pic with the painted radiator support panels and final PS reservoir installation.

Just have to do a little bit more work to finish up the transmission wiring harness, fit the e-brake cables, and get the headers coated and the chassis will be ready for the body to drop on.
