Couldn't you use a 'wax pencil' (ie. a crayon).. that you could 'write' it inside your logo (staying inside the lines).. and then clean it all out after the paint cures (which should be easy).. that should prevent the paint from adhering to the logo portion of your calipers...

Maybe your wife/kids have one you can borrow...?

I'm afraid that wax would prevent the paint from adhering to the caliper where it's supposed to, so I'd rather stay away from waxes, oils, or silicones. I'm thinking more along the lines of something that would dissolve out after painting, but not affect the caliper paint which is epoxy. If I screw it up I can always paint the logo. I wish the logo protruded from the casting instead of being recessed, but these are just PBR calipers with the Baer logo cut into them. The rotors are their 2-piece Eradispeed rotors with aluminum hats, 13" front and 12" rear. They don't even sell this C4 upgrade kit anymore.

This sounds like it might work. If you google Liquid masking tape there is a bunch more options/products

Thanks Brian, it looks like that liquid mask just may work. Worth a try anyhow. I just bought some on eBay.

I've masked the calipers with 3 coats of the liquid mask and it seems like it might work. I smoothed up the casting marks a little before paint so they're ready to go now. You only get one shot at this once you mix the epoxy paint. Hope it works.

I think they turned out pretty decent.....I'm happy.

Now on to the assembly of the rear calipers which I also painted.

Got the rear calipers re-assembled today. All newly zinc plated hardware.

    Here's before and after:

Here they are in the sun....they should look better than rebuilt exchange ones on the chassis!
