I've been on this site for a few months and haven't shared many photos. So here's a few. I've had the car for 35 years. Originally bought as a rolling chassis, no engine, transmission, Windows, interior and in primer. Has a straight axle chromed. Got the vehicle for less than $100 and started from there. 2 years to get running and painted. From there adding chrome and interior as time went on. Started with a 283 and Muncie 4 speed. Now planning changes to an LT1 and maybe auto? LT1 Engine is redone getting ready to pull 283 and 4 speed out for change over. Would like to redo paint at same time. May have to wait?

Just like we built them in the late 60's. It's amazing to me how many of us have had our cars for most of our lives. I bought mine in 1973 and still have it today...42 years later. It's lasted longer than my last two wives.56 Nomad, Ramjet 502, Viper 6-speed T56, C4 Corvette front and rear suspension

People come up to me and tell me they had one when they were first married or it was there 1st car when they were dating chicks in high school. Then they say ...those were the days I wish I still had it...I say ...I know what u mean I wish I had my 70 Chevelle back. They usually follow with...Do u think u will ever sell it? I usually follow with ... I doubt it. It's like a part of the family!Comment

I bought my 55 210 2dr in 1966, my first chevy. My wife and I dated in this car when she was still in high school. I still have the car and drive it almost every day. It has never been restored although I did install a 1970 350ci 300hp and a Muncie 4-speed in 1970 and both are still in it today. I have two sons and only one shows interest in it and it is understood that this car will remain in the family, I would never knowingly give it to either on them that they would sell it, I'd sell it myself!!!!!!!!!Comment

All,
I have had the 56 210 2 door for two weeks now. Plans are to replace the toe board, full floor, and the trunk floor in the next three weeks. I have to get home first and then get it to the shop to make this happen. Once these things are replaced (a lot of patching done over the years), I then plan to upgrade the front brakes with a disc brake kit. Hopefully it will be a driver sooner than later. it does have a rebuilt 350 and th350 already in it. I do not have any pics of it yet to share. I figured in progress pics soon. I did have to wash it over the weekend before I went on travel. I know it has probably been a long time since it had been washed. I would swear the old car smiled at me when I washed it. I plan on selling some of my other cars to fund this one as required.
