What does one do/T/L surround area

I don't need a whole repair panel ,and really don't want to cut one up at $130.00 for just that sheet meat around the bottom .Mines quite thin in this spot.Have you any ideas. thanks bob s

I'd think there's lots of parts cars that have a useable taillight area, even if rusted down low. Thing is, a lot of original cars had flawed assembly in this area from the factory.

I suppose that pieces to repair could be made from scratch if a guy had MP&C's skills and tools. However, at $130, buying it is cheap if it serves your needs and you value you time at all.

Thank Rick i appreciate your knowledge on this. I may have a used one on the line.but not sure. I can get a piece of junk quite easily , if i miss judge the sellers description, cheers bob s
