Left and right Corner lights = one dome light? 1957 Bel Air wiring schematic question

I am replacing the wiring that goes to the rear of my 4 door 57 Bel Air. The wiring schematic shows two lights (dome?) connected to the door jam circuit. My 4 door Bel Air has only one dome light and it is connected to the door jam circuit. On the wiring diagram they are labeled "Right corner light" and Left corner light". Are there other models that have 2 dome lights instead of one? If so where would they be located? I have attached a snippet of the diagram.

without having studied your schematic...my first thought is "under dash lights". I have them at left and right, (AAW aftermarket harness).
When the door is opened, the dome light AND those underdash lights power on...

A hardtop has two dome lights, sedans have just one.
