    EFI fuel lines

I am considering running EFI but I don't know much about it. I plan to buy a Tanks Inc. tank with in-tank pump. Will a stock steel 5/16 or 3/8 fuel line work for a supply from the tank to the engine or does EFI need something special?.

I am getting ready to order new fuel and brakes line. I decided I had better ask so I don't buy the wrong thing.

Most EFI systems use 3/8" lines. Depending on your setup, you may need a return line.

The Tanks setup is a good way to go.

What EFI setup are you going to use?

I am not sure which one yet. I like the price and reviews of FiTech so I am thinking about that one. I read on another site that someone has had a FiTech ordered for months but the ship date keeps getting postponed, now scheduled for July. Maybe it is so good that they can't keep up with demand. Or, maybe they found some bugs they have to get out before they ship more.

I'm not looking for a high horse power application, just a simple unit for a cruiser.

I am still in the learning/planning stage now. Thanks for the replay.
