Easily the most hideous wheels I've ever seen on a trifive.
Dave, from the old neighborhood in Jersey!

Or manure spreader or trash truck for that matter.

The restamped VIN plate with a 3 where the alpha character belongs is nice too, all this for a measly 92 grand.

While maybe not the most adorable set of wheels, to someone, they may have been just what the doctor ordered. The gauge package is a vintage look style however it (the style) precedes the build year and may not have been the best choice. As to the manufacturer, that would be "Classic Instruments. As to the VIN tag, I never have been fond of showing it in pictures and this one has been re-stamped quite poorly.

I'm certain that were we all to publish images of our personal selections specific to items for our trifive (except me of course), some out their in cookie cutter world might view the choice, styles or our craftsmanship as, well unacceptable in their eyes.

Except for the wheels, the POS carburetor and ugly corrugated upper radiator hose it's not too bad of a car IMO. In fact, I think it looks pretty nice otherwise, but not worth $92K. They could have done better than an old school SBC and spent more effort under the hood and under the car. What's the issue with the VIN? Why do you say it's "re-stamped"? How do you know "3" doesn't refer to some assembly location? It looks like it's still spot-welded on to me, just like it's supposed to be.

Additionally, there wasn't even close to 800,000 cars made at any one plant in 1955.
Or even 300,000----which ever that number is.

This listing was ended by the seller because the item is no longer available.

Good point Nick those gauges belong in a 35 Chevy.
