    57 bel air Headliner !

    Need Help, Like to installed a 1955 headliner for stainless Bows in my 57 !!! Do I need to order a 55 already with the cardboards or order a 57 have them add the cardboard for the bows ?? I was told the 55 will work in a 57 roof !!! there the same inside !
    Thanks for comments and any advice you might have !

    Hi Rocky, I talk to Gina early today ,She told me she didn't know for sure and she ask her help and they didn't know , She told they did a 56 not long ago had to sew the seams as they went !! I don't know why a 55 wont work !! Thanks for your comment !!!

    As far as I know the headliners, bows, and roof are all the same. Material may differ.
    56 Nomad, Ramjet 502, Viper 6-speed T56, C4 Corvette front and rear suspension

    I don't see how the 55 chrome bows and the headliner differences for it would make any difference whether it was installed in a 55, 56, or 57. The basic roof/doghouse sheet metal should be the same. There is a small difference on 2 door sedans in that the 55 has garnish moldings on the rear window where 56-57 don't, but I think all the hardtops are the same there.

    Thats what im thinking too ! I guess i order a 55 hardtop headline from Gina ! i post to let everyone know if 55 works in a 57 ! Thanks for your comment

    Just curious do the bows screw in the sides on a hardtop? My nomad bows do and the screws are at least an inch long sheet metal thread. If so I assume you will have to drill your 57?
