Body shop ready for my 55, but I can't get qaurters panels

The body shop is finally ready for my 55 2door sedan, so I called to get the sheet metal coming only to find out the 55 US hardtop panels are on back order, and have no idea when they will be available. So, I'm having my supplier check on the imported 2 door sedan full quarters instead I guess, which may or may not be better, but they are correct for a sedan without mods.

Found L/R USA Sherman HT quarters 150 miles away for $700 ea. Waiting for a shipping quote from my dealer 50 miles away for another pair out of California, if any cheaper. Full steam ahead $$$. Are the vertical trim holes behind the door in the same location between the 2 door HT, and Sedan?

Of course not I figured. So much for keeping such a popular, simple car easy. It's no wonder the good ones costs 20 times more than new.

I hear the Sherman quarters are much better then Golden Star but still have issues. Good Luck!
