Hello everybody, glad to be here and hope to contribute. Just bought my second 57 and tried to attach a picture of it. Being computer challenged I don't think it worked...
I'm not a young man but I have fire in my belly when it comes to cars, American made 50's and 60's mussel cars. So in 1962 at the age of 17 I bought my first 57. It was a 150, black, two door, three speed, high mileage car. I sold it in 65 and bough a new Chevelle SS.
Today I have a 65 Chevelle SS but wanted a 57 again. At Barrett Jackson last week I came away with a 57, 150, black, three speed, and advertised as a factory fuel injected car. Heater, radio and back seat delete and I'm pumped.
The 57 is not here yet as the shipping company is still working through the back log of deliveries. When I get it I'll forward some pictures. My name is Al (all guys named Al were born in the 1940's) and I live in the Seattle area. Maybe I'll see some of you at car shows this summer.
