New Member From The San Francisco/ Bay Area

Just checking in here as a new member. I live in Concord, Ca.

My first car back in the mid 1960's was a 1957 Bel Air 2 door hardtop. My second car was a 1956 2 door sedan Bel Air. Over the years I've had a few '57 2 door hardtops and a '57 Nomad. I've also had a few '56 Chevys. My preference has always been '56 Chevys.I currently have 2 '56's- a '56 2 door Belair sedan and a '56 Convertible. As luck would have it, I just never owned a '55 Chevy.

I was one of a group of founding members of Diablo Valley Classics car club, which was formed in 1975 and was based here in Concord, Ca.. Our car club was very active and lasted about 25 plus years. I've got a lot of great memories from those years in the club.

Hey Troy- Yes that was where we met for years. I was the treasurer for the club for several years and the activities director off and on over the years. Did you ever come to our meetings or activities?

Welcome aboard, Dan! Great to have you here. Last time I was over your way was in the late '90s. Took my wife on a cruise and Frisco was one of the places we stopped. First time I had ever seen the Golden Gate Bridge from topside as motorists see it. Had sailed under it more then a few times when I was in the service, but that's a totally different perspective altogether.......

    DBF,

    Harry
