It just occurred to me that the Corvette part may be different. The passenger car adapter has provisions for the passenger car bellhousing mounts. Frankly I don't know whether a Corvette is different there, or what its rear motor mounts look like - but it sure could be different.

The more I think about it, yes it definitely should be the same as at least 53-54 passenger cars, and maybe all the way back to 50.

After all, everything else on a C1 at least started out the same as 50-54 passenger cars, and that includes the 235 6 cylinder and PG.

Original web site that I got my info from is for "Southeast Chevy Parts" out of Apopka, Fl. It states the adapter plate fits "1950-1957 Chevy Bel Air and Corvette". That is what I was going by. Thanks . JP

I guess the bottom line as I see it is that if its a Corvette exclusive part its has some value. If it fits a Pass car too, I have scrapped dozens of them with zero regrets. Its like camelhump or fuelie heads most have never been within a mile of a fuel injected Corvette.

Certainly a lot of the value depends on the casting number and date code on the part, especially for a NCRS correct build. The correct date code is really important to these guys.

Its not possible to NEVER offend anyone. So don't even worry about it. There are a few Debbie Downers on here. Let 'em be that way.
Just carry on with your project.
I have a 59 Apache 3100 and would enjoy seeing your 6100 build sometime if you post a pic or 2 in the trucks forum or project updates forum.
