Looking good Laszlo! Won’t be long and you’ll be putting it together for keeps.

Matt and I worked all day yesterday doing the masking and final wet-sanding to spray the orange on the car. He started shooting paint at around 4PM and had to leave to get his daughter around 6 and had one coat of orange done. Then he said he was going back to the shop to try to get the rest of the orange and clear shot.

Here's a shot with everything painted with the white basecoat.

He sent me these pics at 3AM this morning.

We still have to re-mask the whole car and shoot the orange and matte clear on the bottom of the car, the firewall, and the bottom of the hood. Fenders, doors and tailgate and a few small parts are done and ready for cut and buff.

Wow it's finally Done!! I'm guessing it's the lighting that makes it look less bright than the frame. Congratulations!!

Thanks Troy. I can't wait to see it outside in the sun. The fluorescent lighting in the booth really messes with the colors and the camera picks them up differently.

It has to be a great feeling to finally have paint on the car, even though there is still plenty of work left to do.
    Looks great!!

Nice and slick, easy cut and buff. That first picture shows the light color better, probably still not accurate, but in that shot the colors work good together.
Congrats on a big step, looks awesome.

Thanks guys. I think I posted these before but here's the colors in the sun and out of the direct sunlight. The computer doesn't do it justice.

I really like the white you choose. The pearlescent white goes well with the orange!
