Got the car unloaded from the trailer. Here's a shot outside....the top one with my iphone and the bottom with my Canon camera. They look different to me.

They do look like the color is slightly different, most likely because they were taken with different cameras. That's why we make money in the printing business color correcting photos!!
So which one is closer to the actual colors?
Looks great by the way and will look even better sitting back on the chassis.

I think the top picture captures the orange better. Also, the tan in the bottom picture looks almost white, so it's more accurate in the top picture. I think the Canon camera over-exposed it. The lighting really makes this paint change color.

Funny cars look the same to me, and that's not a bad thing. However gravel is brown in one shot and gray in the other.

Part of the difference is that there is a little sun in the bottom picture.

If you notice the shadows, the sun angle is almost the same. The bottom picture was taken within a few minutes of the top one....both had the sun on the side of the car.

I know you tried hard to make them the same, but it doesn't take much, you can even see a difference on cars from one area to another. Look at the sun on the roof corner, and count the ribs from the front to the edge of the garage door, the camera angle is off by 1 rib.
But most of it is in the camera IMO

Went over to Matt's last night and picked up the remaining parts he finished.....the tailgate, hood, and driver's fender along with misc small parts. Everything looks great and I'm really liking the colors together. My son looked at the body and told me it looks way different than the pics I sent him. Now someone has to put all this stuff together.
