Hello:
Just saying hello. I just registered. My name is Dave and am from MD. I have had three Tri-fives; a 1957 4-door wagon, a 1955 Nomad and a 1955 2-door handyman wagon. I bought the Nomad to drive, it was a patina's car but I go very sick and was in the hospital for a month. Got out and rehab has been long road. A very close friend had the 2-door wagon, upholstered and in paint but no drivetrain. He always wanted a Nomad so we swapped cars. Love the wagon and he loves the Nomad. Wish I had been well enough to build it.
I am building a 283 for the Wagon. Its a 194 67 Nova block. Worth a few bucks to a Nova guy but the Wagon gets it, block done and in short block stage, waiting for heads. Then it gets an Offenhauser 360 dual quad intake, a pair of Edelbrock 500cfm carbs, Accel vintage super stock distributor, and vintage BM 2-piece valve covers. It will have a Vintage Sun supertach and a Vintage 4 hole Superior 500 wheel. Its running 15" rally wheels. It will be either a Th350 of Muncie M20 with bench seat shifter. Still undecided.
