The wagon frames are identical to the sedan frames, whether 2 door or 4 door, within a given year of car. 55 and 56 are the same, however....the front frame horns on a 57 are about 2" shorter than a 55 or 56 and the bumper bolt holes are in a different location. So if they designed the front frame horns for a 57 in the C4 conversion, they will be shorter. In the rear the bumper bolt holes are also slightly different with the rearmost one being 1/2" further forward than a 55 or 56. Everything else should be the same from a 57 to a 55. If you are willing to make custom bumper mount brackets you should be able to use the frame.

Do you have a pic of the frame?

I just remembered one more small difference between 55/6 frames and 57. On a 55/56 there is a small tab just below the cowl body mount to attach the inner fender lower section to, which is not present on a 57 frame. It's not a big deal because you could bolt a small tab there to use the frame on a 55.
