hey all my name is TONY i live in florida now after live in CHICAGO for 53 years i have a 57 yellow bel air wagon i bought the car in february of 1973 for $85 its had 4 motors and 4 different transmissions my legs are staring give out on me, so i am taking the 4spd out and putting a 700r4 trans in hopefully i can find a few parts here that i will need thanks for your help in advance

Welcome aboard, Tony! I am having to consider the same thing transmissionwise. May see if a hydraulic setup will help. Really not into slush boxes and hate to go that route unless I must.

I am very thankful that my bad hip is on the right side, still able to row gears in the 3 cars I own with 4/5 speeds. You really need to add a $25-35 Camaro crossmember under that 700.
